Executive Ghostwriting

The case for executive ghostwriting

Ghostwriting is not a shortcut. It is a specialised form of writing where the quality of the output depends on the writer's ability to disappear into someone else's perspective and argue from there. The result is not the writer's voice with the executive's name on it. It is the executive's view expressed with more clarity and structure than they might achieve in the time available.

Senior leaders have an obligation to contribute their perspective to their sector. Most have the perspective. Few have the hours required to turn that perspective into something worth publishing. Ghostwriting resolves that constraint without compromising the authenticity of what is said.

Voice capture

Before writing anything, we run a voice capture process: a structured conversation that maps how the executive speaks, what they believe about their sector that others do not, what they find frustrating about how their category is typically discussed, and what argument they most want to make in public. The writing that follows is built directly from that material.

What we ghostwrite

Conference speeches and keynote remarks. Opinion articles for industry publications and national press. Board letters and shareholder communications. LinkedIn long-form posts built around a specific argument. Internal addresses on culture, strategy, or significant change. Forewords for reports, books, and publications.
